Polycons is the name of an infinite family of single faced solids that I discovered in 2017. In fact, I discovered the family’s first member, the tetracon (or sphericon) many years ago (published in 1980). The polycons are developable rollers. Developable – because their entire surface can be flattened onto a plane without distortion. Rollers – because when placed on a sloping plane, they start rolling. There are two more, well known, developable roller families: the poly- sphericons and the convex-hull two-disc rollers (oloids).
